Conditions often dictate how the spey caster deals with his or her spey head, and the distance it is in or out of the rod tip. George goes into detail in the video below.

    you guys should consider getting a lavalier mic set-up so that you can still hear ol’ Georgie, even when the camera isn’t pointed right at him. Just a thought.
