Starting with the Purple Haze in the Rockies and the Purple Rooster locally we have had great luck with purple bodied flies. Maybe the steelhead and trout have been talking?     This fly is like the 21st century version of the royal coachman, it’s totally unnatural, yet super buggy! I would re-name it “the joker” due to it’s great color scheme and long legs.
