My daughter and son take the incredibly buoyant and easy to maneuver Watermaster Grizzly down the lower Umpqua. The boat is light on the water and with just one push or pull you get results.

Chuck’s probably right. I think Kelsey Helfrich became a licensed guide by 18, doing trips on the McKenzie. Shortly later, she was doing the Rogue, then the Middle Fork of the Salmon, where she is now. In wood boats! Go for it, Patsy!
