Spey Casting Class Slated for March: George Cook and John Hazlett Instructors

Cook Hazelett spey class

Northwest legend George Cook of Sage Manufacturing and Sage endorsed instructor Jon Hazlett are converging on Eugene March 5th and 6th 2011, for the first annual Chuck and Duck Spey clinic. This is a great opportunity to tune up your Spey casting and learn several new casts including the “Double D” cast and the “Kielbasa” cast. George and Jon will have an arsenal of Sage Speys to demo with the new VXP Spey rods, TCX Spey Rods, Rio Skagit Flight Spey lines and Rio Steelhead Scandi Spey lines. There might even be a gentlemen’s “Deathstar” distance competition. You can bring your own rods to get them dialed and have the opportunity to demo some new great products from Sage and Rio. George will teach you the evolution of the Snap-T family of casts. His presentation alone is worth the price of admission. It is true a “bellyacher”. Jon will help you “Solve the Equation” of Spey casting. This clinic is appropriate for all skill levels, from the rank beginner to the seasoned veteran.
