John Fabian lived in Eugene and fished or hunted locally most days of the week for over 40 years. John was an incredibly giving man, and loved to introduce anglers to fly fishing. Many folks in our community will remember John, he was an absolute legend. John made films for Scientific Anglers/3M for many years and those films were on VHS( remember those?). I fished with John back in 2001. Loved his enthusiasm and personality. Caught a few steelhead on the Umqua and shared a few beers. Great guy. Steve
