Immediate Action is Required by Fly Tier’s in Oregon – Oppose “Fur Ban” House Bill 3390

Let your Oregon legislator know that Fly Fishing, Fly Tying, and Fishing in general should be exempted from this Fur Ban House Bill, as it will have a negative impact on all of our businesses and all of your suppliers.

    Two comments: The proposed justification for this legislation is very vague and weak. Second: I can’t think of a fur bearing animal, wild or domestic, that is killed for its fur. Often the animal is either killed for its meat or to get rid of a pest. With the issues all of us deal with everyday, proposing such legislation is nearly unconscionable. Who will enforce this, at what cost to us?
