Copper Tiger Midge Fly Tying Video

In this video, Greg ties a deadly midge fly pattern fished in lakes and tailwaters around the world, The Copper Tiger.

Fished as a dropper-rig, under an indicator, dead-drifted, or with Euro techniques, the Copper Tiger is a variation of the classic Zebra Midge fly pattern that has proven itself as a simple, yet effective fly pattern again and again. Tie some up and get out there.

I can’t seem to get this fly off the end of my line. Fishing lakes or streams it produces fish. Great below a balanced leech in the lake or below a jig nymph in the rivers.

    Very consistent on the Crooked.
