Us old school guys are usually weary of new-fangled stuff, but that is so buggy looking I almost wanna eat it myself….
I agree. Great fly, Tony. However, with all the special bead heads, fake tails, articulation devices (almost sounds dirty), plastic noses and faces….. It all makes you wonder when they will just call it what it seems to be going…..”tackle”. Hey guys….want to go out to the shop and tie up some tackle. Spinning reels are an option. Hmmm. I may not have the commercial perspective correct, but what’s wrong with a hand full of feathers, hair, thread, hook and a little skill? That’s what fly tying is really about isn’t it? After all, it doesn’t take much skill if I can do it.
