Go big or go home: Ocean conditions lining up for great fishing this weekend

October 8th, 2009 · No Comments

The ocean conditions are lining up for great fishing this weekend, for those of you not participating in the McKenzie Two-Fly Tournament. Capt. Nate says the water looks good for offshore adventure, and ODFW recently lifted the depth restriction on rockfish and lingcod, meaning you can now go down deep to catch the biggest badboys if you’re not opposed to using gear. Plus, that 60-degree water is still within 20 miles, which translates to some interesting bluewater fly fishing possibilities.
