Deschutes River Steelhead

July 31st, 2008 · No Comments

The lower Deschutes river is currently experiencing a very good run of summer steelhead.   Anglers who are walking or biking up from the mouth are having great success.  Typical summer steelhead patterns that are working well: Red Wing Blackbird, Green Butt Skunk, Freight Train, Purple Peril, and Silver Hilton.   The shop also has some addtional summer flys  on hand; Irish Car Bomb (stop laughing) Deschutes Demon, Crispy Critter Midnight Sun, Low Water Green Butt, and the Green Lanturn.
