Afternoon dry fly fishing on the upper Mckenzie River

June 21st, 2008 · No Comments

Water temperatures are nearing 53 degrees by late afternoon on the upper Mckenzie River. We are seeing larger Brown Caddis, Green Drakes, Green Mckenzie Caddis, Golden Stones, Little Yellow Stones and Pale Morning Duns. When fishing above the dam look for fishing on the surface to be best in the later afternoon 2-8pm. CD
